Buy our publications here

Important note We are no longer taking orders from the USA. Sorry, but we have neither the time nor the inclination to deal with the consequences of Trump's tariffs. Our Where to Ski books are available on amazon.com, and we hope our WalkPlanner maps will soon follow.

UK orders pricing policy We are now selling our publications to UK addresses free of post and packing charges. As a result you will find discounts on the book price are not routinely available. If you are lucky enough to have a discount code, enter it during the checkout process.

Overseas orders We ship to most countries (other than the USA) where English is widely understood (and many where it is not), but not everywhere; there's more on this aspect in the background information given below. Shipping costs, which depend on where you want delivery, will appear at the checkout stage. You can pull out at that stage.

To buy a book immediately, hit Add to Cart below, setting the quantity first if you want more than one copy. To learn more about a title before ordering, click on the main part of the cover image. To download an entire sample chapter of a Where to Ski book, go to this form.

But ideally look over this background info first

We’ve found from long experience that the postal services in many parts of the world are unreliable, giving rise to countless problems; this is why we are now a bit selective about where we ship.

We do ship to most of Europe; one of the main exceptions is Russia (which for postal purposes is in Europe). We ship to Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and to a small number of places in the middle and far east.

The checkout address entry system includes a country dropdown; if your country isn’t listed in the dropdown, we don't ship there.

For the moment, at least, we have abandoned plain vanilla post in the UK, and now use only a Royal Mail tracked service.

For addresses outside the UK, we offer only tracked postal delivery. Note that it is in principle possible for your country of residence to apply taxes to goods arriving from abroad, although we believe this is rare in the case of books.

Orders are passed to the warehouse without delay, and with luck are despatched the next day; but the volume of orders varies widely, and at busy times orders may slip to the following day.
